What is the difference between a psychic and a medium?

All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. In a psychic reading, the reader tunes into your personal energy, life path, and present circumstances to provided insight into your past, present, and potential future based upon your current life path trajectory.

 

In a mediumship reading, the medium connects directly with the spirit realm to communicate with loved ones who have passed away. An evidential medium brings forward specific details that the client can validate, helping them to know that their loved one is present.

 

What does “do not feed the medium” mean?

During a reading, a medium will ask, “does this make sense to you?” It is important to answer without providing a lot of details or backstory. Simply saying, “yes,” “no,” “maybe,” or “I don’t know” is helpful. The reading will be much more meaningful for the client if the details come through the medium from spirit.

 

How should I prepare for my session?

Your energy is just as important for a clear connection as is the medium’s. Be sure that you are not sick, on any mind-altering substances, and that your heart and mind are open. If you meditate, doing so beforehand may help with a clearer connection. Filling your heart and mind with positive, high vibrational emotions is also beneficial. Love, joy, and gratitude work well.

 

For psychic readings, please prepare two or three questions prior to your session.

Receiving Reiki remotely is made possible the same way that telepathy and mediumship are possible: in our divine nature, we are all one. There is no separation.

Your 40 minute session includes 30 minutes of remote Reiki and a 10 minute follow-up phone call. The purpose of the call is to discuss your experience as well as any messages or insights that may be been received by the practitioner.

Before your session, set your intention to receive all that you need and to release all that no longer serves you. Get comfortable in where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the session. Lying down in a darkened room is ideal, as is wearing an eye mask, if you have one.

At the appointed time, relax and calm your mind as best you can. Focusing on your gentle breathing is often helpful. Notice any sensations felt throughout your body and relax into the experience.

Can you guarantee I will connect with a specific loved one?

While it is up to Spirit who steps forward during a mediumship reading, and we trust that whoever steps forward brings an important message for your highest good at that moment, Michelle is happy to try and connect with the loved one you had most hoped to hear from. While this doesn’t always result in the desired connection, it often does.

 

Are readings confidential?

All reading are 100% confidential. With your permission, Zoom readings will be video recorded and emailed to you after your session. Should both the client and the medium agree in writing, a small portion of an approved clip may be shared on social media for the sole (and soul :) purpose of bringing hope to others in their grief.

 

How often can I book a psychic reading?

To maintain healthy boundaries and ethical practices, clients may not book individual psychic sessions for themselves more frequently than once every six months.

 

Are there limits to what I can ask?

Michelle Kiefer strictly does not provide readings, predictions, or spiritual insights regarding medical conditions, fertility, conception, or pregnancy outcomes. Any questions regarding if or when a client will become pregnant or experience fertility challenges will be politely declined. Please contact a medical experts with these types of questions.

 

Do I need to be a certain age to book a reading or a Reiki session?

Clients must be at least 18 years old to book an individual session. Minors may only be present in group readings if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

 

How do I book an appointment?

What is the Cancellation Policy?

To cancel a scheduled appointment, please contact us 48 hours or more prior to your appointment. You may either reschedule or receive a full refund.

 

Appointments cancelled 47 hours or less before the scheduled appointment can either reschedule or receive a 50% refund.

 

Missed appointments (no shows) without prior communication are non-refundable and the session cannot be rescheduled without making an additional payment in full.

 

We reserve the right to terminate any reading at our discretion if it is determined not to be in the best interest of the client, or if a reliable spiritual connection cannot be established. If a session is terminated by the provider for these reasons, a full refund will be promptly issued to the client.
