Meet Me in the Chat Room
Essay from August 2026 edition of "Loving Intention Connection"
We walk with multitudes. This message frequently comes up in my work when I am connected to the other side. It is meant as a reassurance for all of us. We are never alone.
During a recent group reading, I received this message and as soon as I shared it, I was given further edification and was instructed to clarify: it’s not exactly that all of our ancestors, loved ones, guides, angels, and teachers are all around us, it is that they are within us. We embody the disembodied.
Logically, this makes perfect sense from the perspective that we are all One. However, we can be so entrenched in this dream of separation, that when we think of those in spirit, we envision them as outside of ourselves.
This newsletter is coming to you a little later than usual because I’ve had a bit of some kind of virus and haven’t quite had the mental capacity to get it together. I bring this up because when I am physically ill, or am doing the I’m-too-busy dance of life, I tend not to meditate or do the other things that keep my vibration high. When this happens, I move through life differently than when I am doing my daily work. I don’t feel as connected. I am not in flow. The messages from my guides and loved ones seem to slow dramatically. It’s a disconnect and in that space, I often wonder, “where is my team?” Isn’t that silly? I’ve hung up the phone and am wondering why I can’t hear anything on the other line.
The work of daily practice keeps the phone line open and guess what? The call is coming from inside the house. We are not trying to reach anyone outside of ourselves because they are within us, which seems to me to be the very reason that keeping our vibration high is so key. I used to think that I was raising my vibration to come into alignment with the other side somewhere beyond me, but it feels more true that where “they” exist within me IS the high vibrational state. It’s less about picking up the proverbial phone and more about walking into the high vibey chat room of Christ Consciousness.
We are one multitude.
What a concept “one multitude”! The most common analogy of Christ Consciousness is of our Creator being like the sun and we are the rays of light created by the sun. There are multiple rays of light, multitudes even, and how delusional is it that they imagine themselves separate from the sun and each other?
Last month, at one of our weekly Ananda Mandala breathwork meditations, I had a beautiful experience, rich in symbolism and profoundly moving. During part of the vision, I was in a canoe with my dad, who died when I was only 12 years old. Addressing the heart of my childhood wound and lifelong trauma, he looked at me and said, “I will never leave you.” I cried.
I cried because even though I recognize the truth of our unity, I am still having a human experience with the broken heart of a little girl who lost her dad. I cried because he has been one of my greatest teachers. I cried because he was reminding me yet again that he didn’t really go anywhere, except everywhere.
What a wild ride it is to understand unity and to have had so many direct experiences of this Truth, yet still find ourselves dreaming that we are in these bodies and are separate from one another. What will this planet look like when we fully embody this Knowledge?
My prayer for each one of us is that we continue having these deeply meaningful and transformative experiences of our oneness until we can’t even remember what it was like to believe otherwise. My prayer is that we all fully awaken and are free to be the divine love that we are, nothing more and nothing less.
If you are unsure of where to begin, simply ask. All the answers are within you. You are multitudes. You embody the disembodied. You are Divine Love.
And so it is.
